The Annual Neighborhood
and Friends Easter Egg Hunt
Thanks to Boy Scout Troop 270 and their leaders!
They filled over 1500 eggs which were
"hidden" on the ground, in the trees and
bushes of the church property,
and on the playground at North Ridge Park.
Thanks to the members of Community of Christ for providing
prizes, cookies, and beverages for the hunt.
The older children search for eggs on the playground.
The days had been cool and rainy,
but fortunately, Saturday was sunny, but brisk.
Everything is ready, and the people begin to arrive.
After all of the eggs are collected, people enter the church
to get a prize, have refreshments, and to visit with friends
and neighbors.
The gym is ready.
Scout moms helped to arrange cookies on the trays
.
Prize eggs are ready to distribute to children
as they come into the door.
There is a prize for everyone.
