Samuel Hears God's Voice
Sue shared two stories.
One was an Old Testament story about Samuel, who heard God's voice. Samuel became a prophet for his people Does God speak to people today?
We heard a short story found in the Guideposts magazine about what happened when in his head a man heard God say, "We can do it….." He and God together saved 4 people from drowning.
We started a craft sticks list of hints about how God might speak to us
including hints about our attitude and responses.
We'll have more modern-day stories in future months in addition to a Bible story.
