Miss Lamb said, "You see, you can’t rush some things – like growing,
and changing… God actually tells us that beautiful things take time."
Then O.B. Joyful arrived with a surprise in her box.

Today’s “gem of joy” is a pearl. What do you know about pearls?

This onion and the pearl both grow in layers.
Both the pearl and the vegetable can remind us that as people,
we, too, learn and grow and add layers to our lives.
But life goes on and on -- and we grow, layer by layer.
One thing we need to remember is that Jesus will forgive us
when we make mistakes.
We need to keep trying and never give up.
In that way, our lives will be full of joy.
