The classroom is ready for JAM Kids
Today we will make "Thankfulness Turkeys."
Miss Lamb was happy that Psalm 100 talked about
"the sheep of his pasture."
She said, "Hey, I'm a sheep of his pasture!"
Today’s Bible lesson is an old, familiar story.
It is a favorite New Testament parable, found in
Luke 15:11-32.
Luke 15:11-32.
A farmer has two sons.
The younger son took his inheritance and left home,
looking for the joy that he wanted.
After squandering his money, he finally returned home.
The father welcomed his son and rejoiced at his return.
There was a celebration and a feast of thanksgiving.
Our Junior Leaders read Psalm 100 as each child held up a card.

After supper, we made edible turkeys from cookies and candy.
These would be wonderful table favors to make at home.
The "glue" was chocolate frosting.

The evening ended with gym time and campfire
