A Busy Evening at JAM Kids
It is Spring!
At last, we see green shoots coming from the cold earth.
Resurrection!
Ice has melted, and the playground across the pond
welcomes the return of children!
In the spring of the year, hundreds of local youth
are involved in soccer programs.
It is the most popular sport that is played
around the world.
In other countries, soccer is known as football.
We had fun this evening with some
different kinds of soccer.
It looks like Mary won't be playing much soccer!
But Caroline can practice her dance for "sharing time."

Such beautiful colors are hidden.
In developing nations with so many people who have little or nothing
in the way of possessions, folks from the villages or cities
find ways to create their own soccer balls.

In addition to creating your own ball,
you can recycle a box from the grocery store to make an indoor,
tabletop “soccer” game to play with others.
Two Stories Were Shared
Carolyn shared a story about a soccer team
that learned to work together!
The Bible tells us that Mary Magdalene was at the tomb of Jesus.
She saw a a stranger at the tomb and she thought it was a gardener.
She recognized Jesus when he spoke her name.
Mary then ran to share what she now knew and believed.
Is Jesus calling our names? Will we share what we believe?

Sara and Tylee arrived to lend a hand.
"Peep Peep" Mobiles
The JAM Kids had a good time making an edible craft.
This would make a cute centerpiece for Easter dinner!
Then it was time to eat and share!

Maddie's geode was found by a bush in their yard.
Taylee knows what a kitty says!
Darya sang a song in Lithuanian.
Yixuan played a beautiful song on the piano.
Evan can do funny things with the joints in his fingers.
