JAM Kids - February 11, 2015

"Unlikely Friendships"

February is a month of friendship and love!

 Who wouldn't love this group??

When the children arrived, they were greeted
by lots of supplies for making valentines.

They could make special greetings
for anyone they wanted.
Each one was creative and different.

"Unlikely Friendships"

We talked about the bald eagles
and about their nest in Decorah.

The Great Horned Owl wants to take over the eagles' nest!
They do not get along.

But we found out that sometimes, there are wild
animals who do get along with one another.

We heard a story about animals in Alaska.
Three cats have become friends with eagles.

And you can add a fox into the mix.

Other unlikely friendships include this frog and a mouse.

The tiger, lion, and bear (oh, my!)
have lived together since they were cubs.

Becky then shared ways that we could be friends
and to use Jesus as our example.

Why can't we all just get along??

You can see more interesting friendships among
animals in this book.

Scripture Search

While the bigger kids are doing the scripture search,
Taylee is doing her craft with help from Ty.
