JAM Kids - Jesus is Our Coach

Welcome back to JAM Kids!

This year, we are using a “sports” theme for JAM Kids.  With Jesus as our coach, we will have the best advice available!

 It is football season, so the JAM Kids decorated their own football helmet plaque.  They had a lot of things that they could select.   Some chose their school mascot, others just used things that looked good to them.     They could also create a pennant.

 "Hey, I think I'll use this on my helmet!"

We were SO HAPPY that it rained for a little while.   
Do you remember the song?   "The day that the rains came down, Mother Earth smiled again . . ."





We shared a new book by Ilene Cooper.   Everyone knows a version of the Golden Rule. But what does it really mean? And how do you follow it? In this beautifully illustrated book, a grandfather explains to his grandson that the Golden Rule means you “treat people the way you would like to be treated. It’s golden because it’s so valuable, and a way of living your life that’s so simple, it shines.”  And though it may be a simple rule, it isn’t easy to follow. Fortunately, following the Golden Rule is something everyone can do, which means that every person—old or young, rich or poor—can be a part of making the world a better place.
