April 2017 JAM Kids

kingdom of heaven belongs
to people who are like these children.”

Jesus showed love and respect to all people,
and this evening, we shared ideas
about how we can also show love and respect.

Each person made a bunny.
"Each Kindness"
The book “Each Kindness” really helped us
to understand that every little thing
that we do can have an impact
on the lives of others.
Chloe, the girl in the book,
chose not to be friends
with a new girl in her class.
She was not kind to Maya.
And this lesson really caused Chloe
to think about her actions.
When the classroom teacher
presented a lesson about kindness,
she dropped a stone into a bowl of water
and waves rippled out, away from the stone.
Then we took turns dropping
a pebble into water.
Each person shared a kindness
that they had done for others.
"Dinner Theater"
During supper, JAM Kids could
do something to entertain the others.
Ivan introduced the acts.
