JAM Kids - October 10, 2018

JAM Kids Travel to the South Pacific

“Sing to him a new song, play skillfully on the harp, and shout for joy.”
           Psalm 33:3

The leaves are changing color in Iowa.
And JAM Kids "traveled" to Tahiti and Melanesia!

Upon arrival, the kids added a photo to their passports.
And they dressed paper people in costumes from the South Pacific.

Then they could "paint with sand"
or finish their drums.

Then it was time to "travel."

So they got out their passports and went through customs.

When they reached the South Sea Islands, the travelers were greeted warmly.

Beverly shared stories of Tahiti.
The people of Tahiti find great joy in singing!

Then Darrin told about the people of Melanesia.
They love Jesus and are very devout Christians.

Our Dinner included fresh pineapple and mangos,
fruit you might find on a tropical island.

We give thanks for our food.

Fun in the Gym!
Games included "elbow tag" and free play.

Campfire Singing with Actions!

Be sure to take your drums home with you!

Thanks to our helpers!
