Then it was time for our Bible story.
Our Bible story for March comes from John 13:1-17.
It is the story about Jesus, the Peaceful Servant.
It is a story where Jesus sets an example for all of us.
During the time when Jesus walked the earth,
it was very common to have a servant
wash the feet of guests as they came to a home.
On the night of the Passover dinner,
Jesus washed the feet of his disciples.
Dinner was special, because it was a BIRTHDAY PARTY!
First, we had pizza.
And then, the JAM Kids gathered around Dick
And finally, Singing Together at Campfire
We love the crazy, active songs!

Most people prefer to live peacefully with others,
but when there are conflicts,
many wait for the other person to make the first move.
Problems inevitably arise when both parties
wait for the other to take the first step.
That's why the apostle Paul instructs
each offended person to move toward the other.
If even one of the two follows this teaching,
there is hope for restoring the relationship.
