Our final session of JAM Kids met on May 11th.
It was FAMILY NIGHT
and we had 100% attendance for the children!
Each child brought a parent or grandparent
to share in the fun.
Our final Fruit of the Spirit was Faithfulness.
The New Living Translation of the Bible tells us in Hebrews 1:1,
“Faith is the confidence that what we hope for will actually happen;
it gives us assurance about things we cannot see.”

It was wonderful to see Spring flowers in bloom!

Columbine

Lilacs

Lily of the Valley

And a robin in her nest, right outside the door.

The children all enjoyed sharing with family members!

One activity was making a "flip book"
with memories of the year.

before beginning our Bible story for the evening.
We selected a favorite Bible story for May,
which comes from the Old Testament book of Daniel.
Three men, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego
all had important jobs in the province of Babylon.
They worked for King Nebuchadnezzar.
When the king decided to build
a huge image made of gold and gave instructions
for all of the people to bow down to worship
this idol or be thrown into a fiery furnace,
Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego did not obey.
They refused to worship anyone
but God.

They were thrown into the furnace,
but because of their great faith,
they came out alive, unburned,
and everything was fine.
The king then knew that they
worshipped a true God and not a fake statue.
This faith serves as an example for all of us!
we joined in a blessing for the families
and the food.

Thanks, Judy, for all of your hard work!

GYM TIME
Guess what?
The photographer was so busy doing
the dishes that we have no photos
from Gym Time!
But there were lots of laughs, so
we know it was a fun time.
CAMPFIRE TO END THE EVENING
Gathering for Campfire
Everyone joins in the singing.
".....Anything is possible for someone who has faith!"
Mark 9:23 .
"Jesus told his disciples, 'Have faith in God!' "
Mark 11:22
HAVE A WONDERFUL SUMMER.
WE WILL SEE YOU IN SEPTEMBER!
