JAM Kids - March 12, 2014

"Come, follow me."

Temperatures outside are beginning to rise!
Snow is melting and we see signs of Spring.

Jam Kids in March included fish and ropes.  Thanks to Sue, just returned from a Florida beach, we used seashells to make a really cool “fish picture.”  An added treasure for each child is a real shark's tooth from the beach.

Charlene shows kids how to use the "sticky dots."

Look out!   Some "sticky dots" may stick to your clothes!

It was fun to use colored sand and shells to create a picture.

We talked about what it would mean to “fish for people.”     Jesus needs our help in telling and showing others about the way that he wants us to live.  We need to tell others about what Jesus has done for us to make our lives better.

How many of you have ever been fishing?

In order to “fish for people” we need to show love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, generosity, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control - and other traits that Jesus wants us to have.     Then we are able to witness to others.

 Dinner included GOLDFISH crackers!

We had SO MUCH FUN in the gym!

 First, Sara untangled the ropes!

And then she demonstrated some things that we could do.

Everyone had fun!

Time to say "Good Night."

Next month, we will have our annual sharing time during dinner.

Children can play a musical instrument, tell a joke, do cartwheels, share a drawing or tell about their pets.   Whatever they would like to share!     When you respond to our reminder in April, it would be good to tell us what your child might want to do for our sharing time.
